Making Connections Across the Globe

Nearly 500 volunteers operate regionally on behalf of Lehigh. Whether it’s planning a regional program for alumni to enjoy or representing Lehigh at a college fair, volunteers are at the core of developing an international Lehigh presence.Based in their communities and regions, alumni extend the reach of Lehigh and help us welcome and connect more members of the Lehigh family. Volunteers who get involved with Lehigh at a regional level are incredibly important to the mission of engaging the 80,000 Lehigh alumni who live around the world.

Alumni Admissions Outreach

Alumni Admissions Outreach volunteers represent Lehigh at college fairs and have conversations with prospective students and their families. Often, these volunteers are the first Lehigh representatives a prospective student meets, particularly in remote areas of the world. These volunteers increase Lehigh’s global presence and help spark so many Lehigh journeys.

Lehigh Regional Networks

Serving on that same spectrum are Lehigh’s regional club volunteers. These hard working volunteers coordinate and host events like the more than 70 Lehigh/Lafayette viewing parties across the globe each year, organize Incoming Student Sendoffs during which incoming students are celebrated, and welcome new Lehigh family members to their cities with fun and educational programming.
