The Lehigh University Alumni Association Board of Directors, Young Alumni Council, Senior Alumni Council and Deans’ Advisory Councils are just a few of the structured volunteer roles that assist in an advisory capacity.
256 volunteer leaders help Lehigh develop direction and apply their expertise during the tactical implementation of projects to better serve Lehigh alumni. These volunteers, in particular, serve as ambassadors for Lehigh, informing their fellow alumni and communities about Lehigh and the latest updates and news.
Most importantly, these are volunteers who are called on to support initiatives as they emerge. They may be involved as partners through one-time projects or become go-to critical thinkers when program managers are working through a challenge.
The Lehigh University Awards Committee ensures that volunteers and our outstanding alumni are recognized for their efforts by selecting recipients of the Alumni Award, which is presented every year during Reunion Weekend. The committee is comprised of 15 alumni who have received an award in recognition of their service, loyalty, and dedication to Lehigh.
